What a night, fantastic food shared among a room full of National and World class athletes, supporters, volunteers and coaches. With finalists in my category competing in cycling (Courteney Lowe), water skiing (Renee Hannah) and Taekwon-Do (Kara Timmer) all representing New Zealand on the World stage, I was honoured to receive the trophy for Bay of Plenty Eves Realty Junior Sportswoman of the Year.
Congratulations to the other finalists, all having very impressive results. It was such a shock and the most amazing way to end a very frustrating year of injury. Looking back and reading the results, I had some wicked races where everything just came together, thanks to all my supporters, sponsors, family and Coach!
